About Beacon Allegan

Beacon Allegan includes 25 staffed beds and delivers specialty and 24/7 emergency care. Services at the hospital include primary care, orthopedics, cancer, general surgery, radiology, pulmonology, dermatology, vascular, neurology, cardiac rehab and audiology. We also offer a wide range of minimally invasive procedures, imaging and lab tests, a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation center and a wound and hyperbaric center.  

What You’ll Do 

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll report to the Director or Manager to provide professional nursing services in the area of assignment, assess the needs of patients and initiates, and implement and evaluate individualized plans of care. You will collaborate with other professional, clinical, and ancillary staff in providing compassionate and quality care to patients.

You demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, visitors, physicians and others. You demonstrate the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner. You have an understanding of the need to be responsive and reasonably adaptable for scheduling purposes, when necessary, due to extenuating circumstances in support of co-workers and department functions. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license in the state of Michigan
