Join Harborview Medical Center's as a Psychiatry Registered Nurse
Harborview Medical Center is a Level I Adult and Pediatric trauma center as well as regional burn center for a four-state region; a teaching and research hospital for the University of Washington; and a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community.
Working in the Psych Emergency Service unit is a unique opportunity for a psych nurse looking to take on the challenge of something different every day.
UNIT
  • Assist patients who arrive at the Emergency Room in Psychiatric crisis.
  • Maintain a safe environment, as one of their primary tasks.
  • Patient assessment, and triage.

DEPARTMENT
  • 10-bed unit
  • 24/7 security

SCHEDULE
  • 90% Day shift

REQUIRMENTS
  • Graduated from a accredited school of nursing
  • Have/obtain a WA state nursing license to practice
  • One or more years in psych nursing or acute care setting
