Your future role at a glance

Location: Kyle, TX

Facility: Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays

Department/Specialty: Observation Unit

Schedule: Night shift | Part-time 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Care Planning: Implement and track customized, evidence-based patient care plans.

  • Clinical Monitoring: Record and communicate real-time condition changes to the care team.

  • Interdisciplinary Lead: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient outcomes.

  • Order Execution: Precisely carry out physician and nursing directives with clinical accuracy.

  • Transition Strategy: Manage discharge planning to ensure safe and successful patient transitions.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • 1 year previous Telemetry Med-Surg experience preferred.
  • Bachelors in Nursing preferred
