Part Time RN Nurse - Infusion

Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in infusion therapy to join our healthcare team in Houston, TX. The RN Nurse - Infusion will be responsible for administering intravenous medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses, and providing high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer infusion therapies including IV medications, chemotherapy, and biologics according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects during and after infusion treatments.
  • Assess patient condition and document clinical information accurately and timely.
  • Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain infusion equipment and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with best practices in infusion nursing.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy or related specialty.
  • Certification in infusion nursing (e.g., CRNI) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
