Job description

Make a difference in the life of a young student and contribute your expertise as a part-time Registered Nurse in a dynamic school environment near Naperville, IL. This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on providing 1:1 care to a 4-year-old student requiring oxygen support, ensuring a safe and nurturing school experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (IL) required
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is mandatory
  • Previous critical care nursing experience preferred
  • Must submit proof of nursing license/certification and current resume
  • LPNs are not eligible for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver vigilant 1:1 nursing care for a preschool student while on campus
  • Monitor and manage oxygen therapy and respond promptly to medical needs
  • Communicate regularly with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers concerning the student’s health status and care plan
  • Support the student’s participation in school activities with consideration for safety and well-being
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation

Role Details:

  • Start Date: August 13, 2026; End Date: May 28, 2027
  • Schedule: Fridays only, 8:45AM – 11:45AM
