Job description

Truck Accessory Installation Technician/Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX 78208
Type: Full-Time - plus overtime. Part time available
Why STO?
Join a growing Texas-based team crafting the most badass trucks and hunting vehicles out there. We blend full fabrication-design, sandblasting, powder coating, bed-lining-all under one roof, with a clearly stated commitment to honesty, improvement, and quality.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Meet STO's high standards-install truck accessories like bumpers, lights, goosenecks, 12-V wiring, suspension, toolboxes, and more.
  • Uphold safety and craftsmanship on every job.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and project demands.
  • Communicate clearly and support your teammates.

What You Bring
  • Your own tools and equipment.
  • Genuine self-motivation-ready to work and improve every day.
  • The ability to lift 50+ pounds, with good vision and hearing (corrected is fine).
  • Punctuality, strong communication, and collaborative instincts.
  • Automotive experience is a plus-but we train motivated rookies who take pride in their work.

What You Get
  • Weekends off, plus holidays and vacation time.
  • Health insurance, retirement benefits, and uniforms. A stable 40-hour minimum workweek-STO has never laid off an employee over 20+ years. A fun, fast-paced environment working with great teammates on cool, custom projects.

Physical & Work Environment
Expect stooping, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and balancing. This role is hands-on and physically challenging-so being in good shape and safety-conscious is key.
To Apply
Ready to bring your drive and tools to STO? When you email your resume, please answer this question:
"What is an accomplishment that you are proud of?"
You can also stop by the shop to apply in person-see the team, check out projects on the floor, and learn what sets STO apart.
Who We're Looking For
Someone who thrives in a collaborative, honest, and quality-focused culture. STO core values include respect, communication, continuous improvement, and doing what we say.
  • A self-starter with pride in their work and the ability to perform solid hands-on installation tasks.
  • A flexible team member willing to pick up fabrication, wiring, or rig-up tasks as needed.

How to Stand Out in Your Application
  • Highlight past experiences-even if not automotive-that show reliability, adaptability, or technical skill.
  • Showcase personal pride and dedication-even outside work.
  • Demonstrate how you're a good communicator and enthusiastic teammate.

Join Us and Build the Best
At STO, you'll contribute to vehicles that stand out-in hunting, ranching, touring, and fleet applications. Help us push boundaries, deliver excellence, and make customers proud of their rigs.
Put your tools on and join the crew-let's build badass together.
