Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Are you a retired teacher or teaching professional seeking a small environment rather than a classroom? Are you seeking a position that allows you to flex your schedule around school, family, or another part-time position? If so, we welcome you to our back-up Care team! Part-Time positions are now available in Seattle.
As a Part-Time Nanny, you will:
  • Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
  • No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
  • Support families who need back-up care for children ranging from infants through school age. High demand for children under the age of 2!
  • Engage children by leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's interests and age-appropriate development.

About You:
  • 1 year of childcare experience
  • At least 15 hours of availability per week
  • Ability to pass a background screen; 3 references (2 of which are childcare-related)
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Must be at least 17.5 years old

Benefits:
  • $21.30-$23.00 hourly

Working Conditions and Requirements:
  • Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
  • Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
  • Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
  • May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
