What you'll bring to the teamPart Time Resort Operations Host

At the heart of everything we do is guest obsession-and as a Part Time Resort Operations Host, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences across the resort. This is a dynamic, guest-facing role where no two days are the same. You will support multiple areas including attractions, guest services, custodial operations, retail, and admissions, while bringing company values to life.

Qualifications & ExperienceKey ResponsibilitiesZonal Operations
  • Work within a designated zone of the resort, supporting daily operations while ensuring excellent guest service and promoting company values.

  • Support a variety of operational areas including attractions, admissions, retail, custodial functions, and guest engagement.

  • Maintain attraction efficiency (following training and certification) to minimize queue times and maximize throughput while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Welcome guests at entrances, assist with ticket scanning, and help manage guest flow throughout the resort.

  • Assist guests entering and exiting attractions, ensuring they are properly secured and informed about safety procedures.

  • Enforce attraction safety rules and restrictions, including height and weight requirements.

  • Support retail operations by processing sales, handling inventory, preventing loss, and identifying opportunities to enhance guest purchases.

  • Assist with shows, educational programs, and interactive experiences by preparing venues and engaging guests.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the resort, including public areas and restrooms.

  • Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces including benches, tables, and handrails.

  • Clean and maintain restrooms, restock supplies, and address issues promptly.

  • Ensure walkways and public spaces remain clean, safe, and free from hazards.

  • Provide directions, information, and assistance to guests as needed while maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.

  • Respond to guest requests and address questions or concerns to create a positive experience.

  • Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or operational concerns to leadership.

  • Perform opening and closing routines in accordance with operating procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Liaise with leadership teams to help resolve resort-wide guest issues.

Health & Safety
  • Maintain health and safety protocols across all areas of operation.

  • Monitor guest and team member safety and enforce established safety guidelines.

  • Handle incidents or accidents appropriately and report them according to procedures.

  • Be familiar with emergency procedures, including responding to ride malfunctions or guest emergencies and locating emergency equipment.

  • Identify potential safety hazards and recommend improvements when appropriate.

  • Work effectively in busy environments with high noise levels and maintain focus during high-pressure situations.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Work across various indoor, outdoor, and enclosed environments with varying temperatures and surfaces.

  • Exposure to wet or humid conditions and potential food allergens.

  • Regular standing, walking, and occasional sitting throughout the day.

  • Ability to visually read written materials and safety instructions and complete operational tasks.

  • Hearing sufficient to communicate effectively with guests and team members in person or via communication devices.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role such as theme parks, attractions, hospitality, retail, or customer service is preferred.

  • Experience in custodial services or commercial cleaning is beneficial but not required.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently when required.

  • Ability to achieve certification for attractions, safety procedures, and basic emergency protocols.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.

  • Basic math and computer skills are preferred.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support resort operations.

  • Reliable attendance is an essential function of this role.
