Job Title: Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator

Hours: 8 hours a week (flexible Monday-Friday)

Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to support an cardiology clinical trial as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a dedicated research site in Naples, FL. You will focus on accurate data entry, query resolution, and effective communication about the clinical trial, helping ensure the integrity and quality of study data while supporting patient-centered research activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collect clinical trial data from charts and source documents and accurately enter it into the electronic data capture (EDC) system.
  • Review entered data for completeness and accuracy and promptly resolve data queries within the EDC system.
  • Communicate clearly about the clinical trial with relevant stakeholders, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with study protocols.
  • Work with electronic medical records (EMR) and EDC systems to maintain up-to-date and compliant study documentation.
  • Apply Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and HIPAA training to protect patient privacy and maintain regulatory compliance in all study activities.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
  • At least 2 years of electronic data capture (EDC) data entry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with EDC systems for clinical trials.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Training in HIPAA regulations.
  • Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to conduct detailed chart reviews and interpret clinical information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

This position operates during normal business hours in a fast-paced clinical research setting focused on oncology trials. You will work extensively with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and electronic data capture (EDC) platforms, spending much of the day on detailed data entry, chart review, and query resolution. The environment requires sustained concentration, a high level of accuracy, and consistent attention to detail while collaborating with research staff in a professional clinical office setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Naples, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
