The position: We're looking for a Youth Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who can plan and implement high-quality youth programs and activities and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in service of the community. The Location: 808 E Fir Street Seattle, WA 98104 The ideal candidate will have: Three years of experience working with low-income and diverse populations in an urban setting in areas such as human services, K-12 school-based positions, academic support programs, youth development programs, mentorship programs, postsecondary, or related fields.

Bachelor's degree. Degrees in human services fields preferred (but not required), including by not limited to education, social work, or related field. May substitute four years of directly relevant experience for the required degree.

Experience working youth and families from linguistically diverse households. SHA serves households that speak Somali, Oromo, Vietnamese, Amharic, Tigrinya, Arabic, Spanish and more. Proven track record of planning and implementing successful youth facing services and activities Proven track record of successful community engagement and relationship building with multiple constituents Valid Washington state driver's license with an insurable driving record While these requirements are the traditional standards for developing the skills required for this classification, any combination of experience, training, and education that demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the classification may be considered.

What will you do. Plan, deliver, and evaluate youth programs that align with community needs and safety standards. Identify and implement strategies to connect youth and families to relevant resources and services.

Collaborate with school staff to support SHA students through mentorship, case management, and related strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with households to increase program reach and engagement. Gather and use feedback from youth, caregivers, and community members to keep programs responsive.

Strengthen partnerships with youth-serving organizations, schools, and community groups. Coordinate with internal teams to provide integrated resident supports. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for service delivery and partnership accountability.

Support development and implementation of goals, work plans, performance measures, and continuous improvement; work collaboratively, follow direction, and manage workload under pressure. Follow all safety and health rules and procedures. Attend required trainings and meetings.
