Position Summary

The Registered Nurse serves as a vital member of a dynamic healthcare team, providing clinical support to healthcare professionals through expert patient care management, medical data interpretation, and effective communication facilitation between patients and medical staff. This position requires a self-directed clinical professional with a strong foundation in nursing practice, a demonstrated commitment to health and wellness, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to review, analyze, and interpret medical data, including bloodwork and laboratory results, to support informed clinical decision-making
  • Initiate and coordinate laboratory work and diagnostic testing as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and complete information is communicated to appropriate laboratory personnel
  • Conduct patient interviews to obtain comprehensive medical histories, clearly communicate diagnostic results, and facilitate discussions surrounding potential treatment plans and next steps
  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage appointments, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both patients and providers
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and current patient records and clinical documentation within the organization's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards
  • Develop and deliver patient education resources related to new, emerging, and ongoing treatments and therapies, empowering patients to make informed healthcare decisions
  • Respond to patient inquiries received via phone, email, and chat platforms in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner, ensuring a high standard of patient satisfaction
  • Partner with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-centered care across all touchpoints

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • 3+ years of progressive clinical nursing experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic testing procedures, and evidence-based treatment therapies, with the ability to apply clinical expertise in a remote care setting
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information clearly and effectively to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize competing demands, and manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven adaptability and agility in learning and integrating new processes, workflows, and emerging technologies into daily practice
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, with the ability to accurately maintain clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Onsite in a professional clinical healthcare setting
  • Fast-paced, patient-facing environment that requires close collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team including physicians, medical staff, and administrative personnel
  • Exposure to patients with a variety of health conditions, as well as exposure to medical equipment, laboratory specimens, and clinical supplies Strict adherence to infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and all applicable clinical safety standards is required at all times
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including occasional extended hours, to meet patient care and operational needs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinical facility for extended periods during patient care activities
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, medical equipment, and other clinical tools
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and assist with patient positioning or mobility as needed
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 25 to 50 pounds occasionally
