What is a part time remote IT job?

Part time remote IT jobs are technology roles that allow employees to work fewer than full-time hours (typically less than 40 hours per week) from a location outside of a traditional office, often from home. These positions can include a wide range of responsibilities, such as technical support, software development, system administration, or cybersecurity. Part time remote IT jobs offer flexibility for workers who need to balance other commitments, and they are popular among students, parents, and professionals seeking work-life balance. Employers often require reliable internet access and strong technical skills for these positions.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a part time remote IT professional?

To thrive as a Part Time Remote IT professional, you need a solid understanding of computer systems, troubleshooting, and networking, often supported by relevant IT certifications or a degree in information technology. Familiarity with remote desktop tools, ticketing systems, cybersecurity protocols, and collaboration platforms is typically required. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities help individuals stand out when working independently and assisting remote clients. These skills and qualities ensure efficient technical support, secure operations, and high client satisfaction in a flexible, remote environment.

  • Measure and report campaign results, lead generation, event performance, and marketing ROI
  • Prepare regular marketing activity and results reports for management
  • Identify what is working, recommend improvements, and help develop new ideas for generating leads

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience with CRM, email marketing, social media, LinkedIn, Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, or similar platforms is preferred
  • Familiarity with the Architecture, Engineering & Construction industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Autodesk, Bluebeam, Enscape/Chaos, or other AEC technology is a plus but not required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • High school diploma required; college coursework or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • Must be located in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County and have reliable transportation for local meetings and events

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is proactive, creative, personable, persistent, and accountable for results. You should enjoy meeting people and generating opportunities, but also be organized enough to plan campaigns, track activities, analyze results, and determine what is producing leads.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience across marketing, business development, events, lead generation, and the growing AEC technology industry.
