The Assurance Manager - State & Local Government will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and improving the content that supports Caseware's suite of audit products. In this role, you will serve as Caseware's subject matter expert for state & local government and Yellow Book auditing, ensuring our content remains compliant with applicable standards and delivers best-in-class workflows for our customers. You will collaborate closely with product, solutions, and go-to-market teams to bring timely, high-quality content to our government audit customers.
This is a part time, permanent position

This is a remote position and is available to all applicants residing and eligible to work in US.
What you will be doing:
  • Oversee and manage OnPoint Audit SLG and other attest products for government and Yellow Book content, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable audit standards
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and refine best-in-class workflows for state & local government audits
  • Partner with Caseware Platform and Solutions teams to deliver timely, accurate content updates
  • Support go-to-market activities related to state & local government audit content, including input on positioning, messaging, and customer-facing materials
  • Work with the Support team to address methodology-related customer inquiries
  • Stay current with evolving audit standards (GAGAS, GASB, and related guidance) to proactively identify and implement content improvements

What you will bring:
  • Active CPA license
  • 4+ years of audit experience in state & local government, including familiarity with Yellow Book (GAGAS) requirements
  • Strong understanding of government audit workflows and attest standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Direct experience using Caseware products to perform engagements
  • Experience using Claude and Claude Code
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience collaborating with product or software development teams
