Job description

Outreach Coordinator. Experienced operator or in heavy equipment, construction, sales or trainer. Part time Hybrid Position. 80% from home 20% in person. Flexible hours. Paid training, hourly pay plus bonuses. Attending one in person meeting or networking event in Georgia every 6 weeks

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Educational Executive- Outreach Coordinator/ Heavy equipment Trainer / Bilingual Construction teacher are responsible for facilitate the understanding of our mission through phone conversations or via video. Set appointments presentations through a virtual setting.

Dream Seeker provides new education with in depth training prior to being the sole Executive in a workshop/ presentation. Executive Account Specialists receive ongoing coaching and feedback from Dream Seeker staff in order to ensure highquality training at all times.

Education Executive Outreach Coordinator should be able to commit to working a minimum of 4-8 hours per week.

The time commitment for phone conversations or video presentations will be extended based on Executive performance and availability.

Dream Seeker partner organizations are located in the Metro Atlanta area; initial contact will be over the phone, follow up appointments presentations may be conducted virtually.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Becoming well-versed in all Dream Seeker dual language Programs, focused on Aggregates, heavy equipment and mining industries
● Providing an engaging presentation about Dream Seeker Programs
● Following Dream Seeker policies and procedures
● Representing Dream Seeker in a professional manner at all times
● Working with Dream Seeker staff to co-develop and continuously improve the safety curriculum
● Refrain from promoting personal businesses or affiliations with partner organizations and funders during Dream Seeker workshops and events

● Ensuring that workshop/ trainings outcomes are met and all learner data is collected
● Attending one training sessions in person per month and continuos training and feedback remotely 1-2 hours every Saturday

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

● Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred with preference in Occupational Safety, construction or education, or equivalent degreed program with 1 to 2 years of experience.

●OSHA or MSHA Knowledge and regulations

● Passion for helping others understand the mining industry field and the benefits of training their associates in a Second Language.

● Experienced trainer, safety, heavy equipment leader or teaching in some capacity
● Experience working in safety, heavy equipment or aggregates
● Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, high levels of confidence and energy as a public speaker/presenter

● Strong relationship or “people” skills
● Strong problem-solving skills & extremely flexible and reliable
● Proficiency and comfortable in making and using PowerPoint and Google Slides
● Proficiency in basic computer functions, including computer setup, MS Office applications, and the Internet.

Preferred:

● Experience working facilitating workshops, meetings, or classes in a virtual setting
●Experience in construction, education or safety

●Bilingual Spanish is a plus

●OSHA/ MSHA Certifications is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

● Flexible schedule (Choose your own hours Monday- Thursday between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and Friday: 8:30 am to 12pm)

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in heavy equipment and/ or safety and excel in managing multifaceted projects building relationships.

1 -2 years of experience in sales in-person and Heavy equipment industry preferred.

Work Location: Hybrid or remote. Required one in person meeting monthly or every 6 weeks
