Work Environment

As a remote telehealth facility located in Salem, Oregon, our work environment is designed for flexibility and work-life balance. Whether you prefer full-time commitment or part-time hours, we offer a range of scheduling options to accommodate your lifestyle. Our team operates Monday to Friday for full-time staff, with an opportunity for part-time employees to choose their own hours from Monday to Saturday. Importantly, we do not require weekend work, allowing our counselors time for rest and rejuvenation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop personalized therapy programs by conducting comprehensive assessments for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care, fostering collaboration and sharing insights to enhance client treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all client interactions are thoroughly recorded.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and trainings, to stay updated on the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals, couples, families, and groups seeking assistance for a range of mental health issues. Our clients may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or substance abuse. Your contributions will be vital in supporting their journeys toward improved mental health and personal resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A valid and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Oregon is essential.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, particularly in settings where therapy is provided to individuals or groups.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical principles governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with diverse clientele.
• A proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team environment.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with a background in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling will be preferred. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth technology will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
