This role is entirely remote, allowing for unparalleled flexibility in scheduling. Counselors will use a secure telehealth platform to conduct sessions through video calls or text messaging. • Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on improving clients' mental health.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly discuss their emotions, life experiences, and personal challenges.

• Evaluate each client's mental health status and create tailored treatment plans using evidence-based approaches to foster client progress.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Vitality Recovery, you will work with a diverse population of stable adults with low acuity mental health issues. We carefully screen all clients to ensure they are appropriate for remote therapy, and we prioritize matching clients with counselors based on specialties and demographic preferences. This focused client population allows you to apply your expertise effectively without the challenges presented by severe mental health cases.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current full licensure from the state board, either as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Note: Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster empathetic relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in technology and comfort using telehealth platforms for client sessions.

Candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience are encouraged to apply, as this background will enhance your ability to manage diverse client needs effectively. Experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous, although it is not a requirement.
