Inspira Education Group is one of the fastest-growing edtech startups in the US. We started with a simple mission to democratize access to high-quality coaching so that every student in the world has an equal opportunity to access the best opportunities.

As the world's leading network of top admissions coaches in medical, legal, business, and college studies, we're building software and services in one place—disrupting long-entrenched application processes with products and experiences that strive to provide an equal platform for candidates from diverse backgrounds worldwide.

As one of the fastest-growing edtech firms in the world, we are backed by some of the leading venture capital firms and investors in the world, including Zeev Ventures, Quiet Capital, Craft Ventures and Jeff Fluhr (Founder of Stubhub).

The Role

We are looking for a Law School Admissions Consultant with prior Admissions Committee experience and a deep understanding of the law school admissions process. If you are passionate about mentorship, coaching, and helping future law students gain admission to top law programs, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you will work closely with prospective law school applicants to build strategic application plans, strengthen their candidate profiles, refine personal statements and essays, and navigate every stage of the law school admissions journey. You will serve as a trusted advisor to students and families, helping applicants present their strongest and most authentic applications to competitive law schools. This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Work with prospective law school candidates to identify opportunities to strengthen their profiles and develop compelling law school application materials
  • Manage relationships with applicants and families while providing strategic and tactical guidance on law school selection, resumes, recommendations, essays, interviews, and the overall admissions process
  • Identify optimal law schools for individual students and provide guidance on university programs, majors, and admissions-related resources aligned with each student's goals and background
  • Support students with project planning and application timeline management through trackers and organizational tools
  • Guide students in developing strong personal statements and application essays by advising on structure, editing, storytelling, and narrative development while maintaining the student's authentic voice
  • Stay up to date on trends and changes within the law school admissions landscape to advise prospective and existing clients on school selection strategies and the nuances of applying to law school

Qualifications

  • Graduated from a T-14 U.S. JD program
  • Previous experience serving on a Law School Admissions Committee with experience reviewing applications and making acceptance and rejection decisions
  • Experience working with or advising applicants to T-14 law schools
  • Passion for coaching, mentorship, and student success
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills, particularly for law school essays and personal statements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
