Job description

Behavioral Health RN – Jericho, NY (90% Remote).

Location: Jericho, NY (90% remote).
Employment Type: Part-time, 1099 contract (14 hours/week).
Rate: $55.00/hour.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Behavioral Health RN to join a non-profit organization located in Jericho, NY. This 1099 contract role serves as a Behavioral Health Subject Matter Expert, providing clinical expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder (TUD). This position is ideal for an experienced RN with a strong behavioral health background and a passion for quality improvement and public health initiatives.

  • Proficiency in developing resources, identifying best practices, and contributing to report writing and deliverables.
  • Strong clinical expertise in behavioral health and tobacco use disorder.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project leads and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Program Lead / Health Information Technology Subject Matter Expert.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around the use of evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder.
  • Assist with content for report writing and deliverables, and other activities as needed.
