Job Description- Part-time Receptionist

This position performs as liaison in the initial contact of office personnel with the public in an effective, courteous and confidential manner.

Qualifications:
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be proficient in English.
  • Pleasant and helpful personality both in person and via the telephone. Physical Demands:
  • Have the ability to speak, read, write, hear/comprehend in order to communicate adequately to complete the job duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to carry out fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to sit for 4 to 6 hours a day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors.
  • Answer telephone in a pleasant clear voice, using proper English. Screen or transfer calls. Take and deliver messages when appropriate.
  • Receipt funds received into health center account and patient trust account.
  • Order and receive payment for guest meal trays.
  • Sort and open mail upon supervisor's request.
  • Assemble admission packets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assuring Resident Safety Schedule:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday 3p-8p
  • Saturday and Sunday 9a-4p
HCSP is open all holidays.
