Responsibilities

The RE finance coordinator is a critical operational role responsible for the integrity of rent roll data, timely collection of all rental income and accurate reporting across the company's managed portfolio. This individual serves as the financial backbone of property operations, ensuring the income streams are captured, reconciled, and communicated with precision with the department leadership.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline and 2 to 4 years of professional job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in real estate finance, property accounting, or accounts receivable in property management or real estate company setting.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience maintaining rent roll across a multi-property or multi-tenant portfolio.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel in particular)
  • Strong organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, prioritize, meet deadlines, and be resourceful and flexible, while maintaining absolute professionalism and a customer service mindset.
  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience with commercial or residential collections processes strongly preferred.
  • Lease administration and lease abstracting.
  • Aged delinquency and cash flow reporting.
  • CAM reconciliation fundamentals.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $79,040.00 to $106,371.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
