About the Role
ShareSTAFF is hiring two Medication Technicians for overnight shifts at a local assisted living community in Ripon, CA, a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). In this dual-function role, you are responsible for medication administration and personal care services, working alongside other Medication Technicians and Caregivers under the direction of the Assisted Living Administrator and Assisted Living Nurse. Daily scope includes setting up and administering medications, documenting medication records, assisting residents with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe living environment during overnight hours. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a direct pathway to a permanent role at the facility after a successful placement period.

What You'll Do
- Set up and administer medications to residents per physician orders and facility policies; ensure no unattended medications anywhere in the facility
- Document medications taken and not taken accurately and in a timely manner
- Notify the Assisted Living Nurse of any medication ordering issues or resident concerns
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, dressing, mobility, and safe transfers to and from bed, chair, commode, and walker
- Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper body mechanics during resident transfers
- Document daily care notes and implement individualized resident care plans
- Recognize and report significant changes in a resident's condition or needs to management
- Recognize signs of elder abuse or neglect and report any suspicions per facility protocol
- Protect the confidentiality and security of all resident information
- Contribute to a positive, healthy, and safe living and work environment during overnight hours
What You Bring - Required
- Current California Medication Technician certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work NOC shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) on a part-time schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds regularly
- Must be able to complete pre-placement requirements
What You Bring - Preferred
- Prior experience as a Medication Technician in an assisted living or RCFE setting
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Familiarity with RCFE Title 22 medication administration regulations and documentation requirements
- Experience with overnight shift routines in a residential care environment
