Description:

Blooming Behavior Services is looking for dedicated and energetic people who love working with children. We provide evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the spectrum or with developmental disabilities. We strive to provide the best treatment possible for our clients. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disorders in their home. RBTs are responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, skill acquisition goals, and having a great time through play with their clients. RBTs will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).



This role will approximately 16 - 20 hours per week, with working hours from 2:30 PM - 7:40 PM, Monday-Friday.


What you will do:

  • Provide 1:1 behaviorally based in-home treatment to autistic children or children at risk for developmental delays
  • Implement individualized treatment goals designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) that will guide your sessions
  • Teach and promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a fun, play setting to increase motivation and positive performance
  • Record objective daily data through hand-held technology for real-time data collection that reflects the client's progress toward goals
  • Attend weekly check-ins and provide open communication to the supporting clinical team
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Preferred: Associates / Bachelors and a minimum of 6 months of prior RBT experience
  • Experience effectively engaging with children.
  • Coursework in psychology, child development, or social work is a plus
  • Pass background check
  • Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license required
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds and get up and down off the floor quickly
  • Negative TB test depending on placement
  • Must be able to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 by the first day of work
  • Must have active CPR certification
  • Availability to work 16 - 20 hours per week, with working hours from 2:30 PM - 7:40 PM, Monday-Friday.
