What is a part time RBT?

A Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals, often children, with autism or other developmental disabilities. They work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans. You may work one-on-one with clients in various settings, such as homes, clinics, or schools, depending on the agency’s structure. Regular supervision and feedback sessions are also part of the role to ensure ongoing professional growth and adherence to best practices. Collaboration with other team members and communicating progress to families are key aspects of your weekly routine, providing both support and a well-rounded work environment.
