Now Hiring: Radiologic Technologist - Weekender Days (Part-Time)
Highland Hills Medical Center - Senatobia, Mississippi
Department: Radiology
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday Day Shifts
Highland Hills Medical Center is expanding our Radiology Department and is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Weekender Days Technologist.
This position offers the opportunity to work consistently daytime weekend hours (Saturdays and Sundays) while being part of a growing department dedicated to providing excellent patient care and quality diagnostic imaging services.
Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including Computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray examinations. This position is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining strict patient safety standards and providing exceptional customer service.
The technologist serves as a key member of the healthcare team by ensuring patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate imaging services.
Responsibilities
Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Operate CT and X-ray equipment while maintaining image quality and patient safety.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current Mississippi Medical Radiation License.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
Previous CT experience and CT-specific training.
Experience with major CT equipment manufacturers' hardware and software.
