Job description

The Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of New Mexico seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach NE 529 - Internal Radiation Dosimetry, a graduate-level course offered as part of the Radiation Protection Engineering (Health Physics) curriculum. The course covers the principles and applications of internal radiation dosimetry, including internal contamination, radiation quantities, ICRP dose methodologies, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract models, bioassay techniques, whole-body counting, uranium and plutonium metabolism and toxicology, alpha dosimetry, and ventilation control and air sampling. .
