Psychiatric Technician (Part-Time) Saturday and Sunday, 11 PM to 7 AM.
Support Delivery of Mental Health Care; Great Job if You are in School or Just Starting in the Field

You will:
  • Support the delivery of mental health treatment to residential clients in a broad role that includes taking vitals, facilitating activities and more.
  • Expand your knowledge and experience; this is a great role if you are in school or just starting your career in mental health care.
  • Work with and learn from clinicians in multiple disciplines and may have opportunities to sit in on group sessions.
  • Join a great staff running proven programs in a resort-like setting. You'll enjoy the same chef-prepared meals as the clients and there are always coffee and snacks available.

The hours for this role are Saturday and Sunday, 11 PM to 7 AM. The pay rate ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, depending on your experience.

The Job:
Reporting to the Program Administrator, you will join a team of about 10 Psychiatric Technicians and be responsible for providing rehabilitative support regarding the care of a co-occurring population. You'll ensure that clients and staff have what they need to follow the lead of the Clinical Director and Program Director.

Your Qualifications:
To be a good fit for the Psychiatric Technician opportunity, you will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in roles involving interacting with people; experience in mental health care and/or social services is preferred but not required.
  • Compassion and a genuine desire to work with the population served.
  • A collaborative, patient and understanding approach along with a willingness to be assertive as necessary.
  • The ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • A valid California driver's license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards.
