What is a part time personal support worker?

Part-time PSWs, or Personal Support Workers, are healthcare professionals who assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, but work fewer hours than full-time staff. They often provide support in homes, long-term care facilities, or community settings on a flexible or scheduled part-time basis. This role is ideal for those seeking work-life balance or who have other commitments, while still making a meaningful difference in clients' lives.

Is being a part time PSW a stressful job?

Part-time Personal Support Workers (PSWs) often experience stress due to the physically and emotionally demanding nature of providing care, managing multiple clients, and handling emergencies.
