Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys keeping financial records organized and accurate? We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a professional office environment and provide essential support for day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining financial records, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, performing reconciliations, and assisting with accounting operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a structured environment, possess exceptional attention to detail, and take pride in ensuring accuracy and organization across all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities of the Part-Time Bookkeeper:
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Desktop by recording daily transactions and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage case-related expenditures and financial tracking within Timeslips
• Maintain organized financial documentation for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes
• Support year-end closing activities and assist with financial record preparation
• Process invoices, payments, and other accounting transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure all financial information is maintained with the highest level of confidentiality
• Assist with general accounting and administrative functions as needed

Qualifications Required of the Part-Time Bookkeeper:
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related accounting support role
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop or similar accounting software
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Excel
• Experience performing account analysis, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism
