Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for prospective residents while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process. This position supports multiple apartment communities and assists with leasing, administrative tasks, resident relations, and property operations while upholding company standards and ensuring a smooth move-in and move-out experience.

Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors
  • Conduct and assist with market surveys
  • Show apartments, lease units, and assist with resident move-ins
  • Update unit availability daily and maintain accurate leasing information
  • Process rental applications in accordance with company procedures
  • Submit and track maintenance requests for residents
  • Receive and record collections following company standards
  • Provide general clerical, office, and phone support
  • Maintain complete and accurate resident files and documentation
  • Manage move-in calendars to ensure appointments are completed and units meet move-in standards
  • Address and help resolve resident concerns; escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary
  • Conduct move-out walks and support the move-out process
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, talk, and hear
  • Must be able to work at a computer and use a phone for extended periods
  • Must be able to detect auditory and visual alarms
  • Availability to work flexible and extended hours
