Job description

Position Overview

Defense International Corporation is seeking a reliable and professional Security Driver responsible for the safe transportation of personnel, property, and/or clients while maintaining a high level of situational awareness and security. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond appropriately in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all California traffic laws and regulations

Transport clients, staff, or materials to designated locations promptly

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues

Maintain accurate driving logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports

Monitor surroundings and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

Provide a visible security presence while maintaining professionalism at all times

Follow all company policies, post orders, and client-specific instructions

Minimum Qualifications

Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record

Current California Guard Card issued by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (or ability to obtain prior to hire)

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of professional driving or security experience preferred

Ability to pass background check and drug screening in compliance with California law
