As a High Profile Commercial Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities for High Profile Commercial Security Guard

•    Providing uniformed, physical security to our client and its customers/visitors
•    Patrolling minimum 15-20 km in a shift. Conducting interior, exterior and parkade patrols.
•    Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, responding to alarms, security escorts, responding to calls for service, report writing/note taking
•    Performing property inspections and enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations
•    Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees
•    Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
•    Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
•    Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork
•    Detect and confront unauthorized persons and violators of security procedures. 

Qualifications for High Profile Commercial Security Guard

•    Good verbal and written communication skills
•    Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
•    Valid Alberta Security Guard license
•    Must have experience using computer systems on a day to day basis
•    Customer service oriented
•    Flexible to work days, evenings and night; full time or part time, 8 - 12 hour shifts
•    Leadership and problem-solving skills
•    Ability to work in a stressful environment
•    Ability to work in a team environment or work alone
