We invite you to meet our talented team and discover the true meaning of Southern hospitality. Charming Inns is looking for a dedicated property maintenance technician to join our hotel and restaurant team. The technician is primarily responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repairs on our downtown Charleston hotels including the Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, Kings Courtyard Inn, and Fulton Lane Inn and and other special projects as assigned. This position will interact with property level employees, corporate senior management, and various vendors. Full Time and Part Time position available - Must be able to work Saturdays. Qualified candidates must:Have experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and basic carpentryBe able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenanceCommunicate professionally with guests, co-workers and vendorsBe available to work 10 a.m.- 6 p.m including weekends and on call shifts.Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Parking is provided. Full Time employees are eligible for medical, vision, dental coverage as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance after 60 days.
