Description
PEACE Academy Charter works to promote educational and cultural empowerment for all of our students to ensure they are mastering or exceeding in their grade level content areas. Our strong focus on academics and cultural identity supports us in being an inclusive school that is heavily grounded in community. We are seeking a dynamic Operations Assistant who can contribute to our school community in addition to supporting administrative duties.
This position reports directly to the Operations Associate
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supports with front office (secretarial duties) - Answers phone, schedules appointments, and provides information regarding office district policies and procedures.
Support School Nutrition Program with lunch service to students
Manages student early dismissal and parent school visits/volunteers
Lead visitors to safe check-in and check-out experience
Support with School Recruitment
Supports special administrative projects as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Associate and Leadership Team
Compensation Information
Part Time 20 - 30 hours per week
Hourly: $13.5/hr

Minimum Requirements
Education:
High school diploma/GED required
Experience:
The experience and qualifications preferred for this position include:
Minimum of 1 years experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students
Experience with clerical and administrative support
Demonstrated effectiveness in working with diverse groups of students, teachers, and families
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated belief in the mission and vision of PEACE Academy
Works well independently and in a team setting.
Strong listening, verbal, and written communications skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Great attention to detail.
