  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Support benefits administration and employee questions
  • Assist with performance review cycles and documentation
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking research and salary market analysis
  • Assist with OKR and KPI tracking
  • Support culture initiatives, retreats, Lunch & Learns, and team events

Requirements

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating or supporting hiring processes
  • Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple active recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • A friendly, confident communication style; you’re comfortable working with both teammates and leadership
  • Confidence to work with internal stakeholders and keep projects moving on time
  • A genuine interest in learning compensation, performance management, and HR systems- we have support and we are here to develop you.
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
  • Working toward or has a CPHR designation
  • Experience in a consulting, startup, or tech environment
  • Exposure to recruiting coordination or HR administration
  • Experience supporting team events or internal engagement initiatives
Why This Role Is Special
  • An opportunity to build deep recruitment experience while gaining exposure to compensation, performance management, and people operations
  • You'll play a meaningful role in helping MistyWest build the teams that design and develop technologies with real-world environmental and social impact
  • Direct mentorship from senior leadership and access to external learning resources
  • Meaningful ownership and visibility early in your career
  • A supportive, smart, and genuinely kind team
  • A clear path to grow into a longer-term role
  • We love dogs!

Benefits

  • Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
  • Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
  • We are also open to considering a part-time arrangement (approximately 30 hours per week) for the right candidate. Compensation, vacation, and benefits eligibility will be prorated accordingly.
  • Extended health and dental benefits commence after 90 days of employment
  • Three weeks of paid vacation annually
