HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

ย All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families,ย and communities for health, justice,ย and hope.ย The part time Immigration Program Assistantย is responsible forย providing immigration support and advocacy to clients in our Seattle, Washington office andย assistingย inย outreach toย theย immigrant and refugee community in Washington.ย 

  • Provide support to the Staff Attorney and Immigration Specialist with a wide variety of immigration matters including but not limited to Naturalization, Adjustment of Status, and Family Reunification.ย 
  • Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to uploading USCIS notices and other documents to immigration software, making copies, and organizing file cabinets.ย 
  • Schedule appointments for clients and organize the Staffย Attorneyโ€™s calendar.ย ย ย 
  • Maintainย accurateย client files and detailed case notes.ย 
  • Attend ongoing training and continuing education courses to keep updated on recent changes in Immigration Law.ย 

HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:

  • 1ย yearย of related experience;ย ย 
  • HS diploma or equivalentย ย 
  • Demonstrated fluency in English AND Spanish, both spoken and writtenย 
  • Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suitesย ย 
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges,ย conflictย and obstacles/barriers.ย
