Job description

Sign Production Artist
Part-Time 25-30 hours a week
Monday-Thursday 8a-1p Fridays 9a-12p or as otherwise approved
Reports to-Shop Owners

Pay $20-$22 an hour 

Job Responsibilities Include:
-Print, mount, trim and finish various digital graphics and signage
-Apply graphics, mount and install all printed/cut vinyl on substrates
-Weed, laminate, mask and apply vinyl, and tape
-Load, operate printers and cut vinyl on a plotter 
-Load media, inks and generate quality prints from digital print equipment
-Move raw materials, sheets and roll goods for manufacturing
-Review and ensure all signage meets the aesthetic and safety specifications for each project, is prepared for mounting, and is placed accurately per the customers request 
-Maintain a clean and organized work space

Job Requirements:
-Strong attention to detail
-Time management skills
-Can lift up to 50 pounds
-Basic math skills for measuring and prepping materials
-Knowledge using exacto knives, measuring tools, drills, saws and other routing tools
-Work well under pressure
-Sign industry experience is a plus but can be replaced by other relevant experience
-GED or high school diploma 
-ability to handle power tools
-Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, stooping, climbing ladders etc)
