Job description

Location: OuterFactor - 111, McCollum Road, Galesburg, Michigan
Reports to: Director of Operations
Shift Pattern: Part-time | Monday to Friday | Flexible Start: 09:00 - 09:30 | Finish: 2pm (Designed to fit around school hours)
Salary: $15-18 per hour
About OuterFactor
OuterFactor develops enterprise and commercial mobile accessories and device-protection solutions. Our work spans product development, manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and enterprise distribution. Our vision is to become the most trusted partner in enterprise mobility for business. We are building the logistics needed to support that growth and are looking for warehouse staff who want to grow with us.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Distribution Center Associate to manage daily inventory movements and direct-to-consumer order fulfillment for our phone and tablet cases. This role offers flexible part-time hours tailored to fit around school schedules, making it ideal for anyone looking to balance work with family commitments. The successful candidate will use NetSuite ERP software to log data, track precise SKU variations, and process a medium volume of daily shipments accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and pack direct-to-consumer orders accurately, ensuring correct device compatibility, color, and style variants.
  • Receive incoming goods, inspect packaging quality, and verify quantities against factory packing lists.
  • Utilize NetSuite ERP to log stock receipts, scan barcode variations, and update inventory counts in real time.
  • Organize bin locations systematically to optimize the picking flow for small-format retail packaging.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to minimize inventory discrepancies across hundreds of unique case SKUs.
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation for end-user orders using NetSuite-integrated courier systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse picking zones.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills and Experience
  • NetSuite experience is highly preferred, but not essential as training can be provided, specifically with warehouse, inventory, or bin management modules.
  • Previous warehouse experience handling consumer accessories, electronics, or retail fulfillment.
  • Strong digital literacy with hands-on exposure to barcode scanners and digital inventory systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail to prevent mixed-model picking errors (e.g., mistaking different phone generations).
  • Good physical fitness to manage repetitive picking tasks and prolonged standing. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the logistics and e-commerce teams.

Why OuterFactor?
We build products that professionals trust and that starts with the people who move them. As a Distribution Center Associate, you'll play a critical role in how we deliver on our promise of quality and reliability. You'll join a growing team with clear systems, real accountability, and opportunities to advance as we scale.
