This Position reports to:

R&D Team Lead

Internship:

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll learn and contribute to the following tasks:

- Design request review. Market research. Proposal development.

- Dimensions according to our modular or luxury system and assembly of the mechanisms with respect to the frames using our internally defined system.

- Preliminary design. Implementation of the actions outlined in our Gate Model and Gate 2 design phases.
- Design focused on tool construction.

- Design focused on manufacturing. Filling simulation (CAD Mould) and its representation to implement improvements for the industrialization phase.

- Design focused on assembly (feasibility of automated assembly).

- Presentation and validation of prototypes with different departments such as Process, Quality, and Product.

- Conduct the necessary laboratory tests to ensure compliance.
Additional functions:

- Understanding and application of knowledge acquired during the degree program to analyze, synthesize, and solve real-world engineering problems.

- Ability to use and program computers, operating systems, databases, and software applications.

- Knowledge of the concept of a company, its institutional and legal framework, organization, and management.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to both specialized and non-specialized audiences.

- Ability to establish good interpersonal communication and work effectively in a team.

- Ability to organize and plan work.

- Development of values such as honesty, responsibility, ethical commitment, a spirit of solidarity and service, and respect for the environment.

- Ability to be motivated and learn independently and collaboratively, adapting to new situations.
