Job description

World of Coca-Cola (WOCC) is an integral part of downtown Atlanta’s fabric. For more than 30 years, WOCC has welcomed guests from six continents, more than 100 countries and all 50 states. This exceptional venue offers a spectacular range of options for corporate and social events where hosts can choose one of the unique private spaces or reserve the entire attraction.

Proof of the Pudding is hiring additional bartenders to join our Mixology at World of Coca-Cola’s events team. Bartenders will help provide beverage set up and service support at events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/break down responsibilities.
  • Sets bar up in a timely manner.
  • Communicates well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
  • Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
  • Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
  • Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
  • Record closing inventory used to balance bar consumption vs sales.
  • Responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received.

Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of bartending experience
  • Must be a team player and a phenomenal communicator.
  • Must be experienced in preparing mixed drinks.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be TIPs certified (will accept similar accredited certifications).
  • Must be extremely hardworking and organized.
  • Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.
  • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.
  • Must live near or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA.

Work Environment 

This position may report to the World of Coca-Cola. This position will require traversing different terrains while lifting and moving product, equipment, and beverages. This position could also drive or ride to events across the greater Atlanta region where the work environments may be buildings, temporary structures, or outdoors.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of being in one place, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue.
