The Opportunity:
Supports the design, development, and maintenance of lowcode and nocode business applications and workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Applies foundational technical knowledge and growing advisory skills to contribute to solution delivery across the full development lifecycle. Works with guidance from senior developers and analysts while gaining experience engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
As a Power Platform Developer, you're excited by the opportunity to solve real-world business challenges through intuitive applications and automated workflows. You'll partner closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and senior developers to build and enhance solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 services.
In this role, you'll contribute to the full solution lifecycle, from understanding user needs and gathering requirements, through application development and workflow automation, to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. Your ability to analyze problems, learn new technologies, and collaborate across teams will help clients streamline operations and unlock the value of modern low-code platforms. You Have:
  • 1+ years of experience building low-code/no-code solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI
  • Experience with core technical concepts such as Power Fx, JSON, REST APIs, Excel formulas, or basic scripting principles
  • Knowledge of data sources such as Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Excel, or SQL databases
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into workflows, forms, dashboards, and automated processes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience developing solutions supporting federal government clients, particularly Department of War (DoW) organizations
  • Experience building Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate cloud flows, or Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Experience with Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), solution deployment, and environment management
  • Experience working with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams integrations, Microsoft Forms, or custom connectors
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira and Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, or cloud computing fundamentals
  • Experience working with relational data structures and basic SQL queries
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration concepts and security best practices
  • Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100), or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
