Job Title: Substitute School Police Officer Location: Knoch School District Employment Type: Part-Time, As Needed (Daylight and Afternoon/Evening Hours) Position Summary The Knoch School District is currently accepting applications for part-time substitute School Police Officers to provide coverage during both daylight and afternoon/evening shifts during events and activities, as needed. This position is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors across the district. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Graduate of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission (MPOETC), or other recognized police officer certification program.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as one of the following:
    • Pennsylvania State Police Officer
    • Municipal Police Officer
    • School Police Officer
    • Other certified police officer
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
  • Completion of legal updates, threat assessment, and violent critical incident training.
  • Weapons proficiency qualifications and current certification.
  • Must successfully obtain Act 24, Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances.
  • Must own an approved personal firearm.
