Job description

Intern

Intern, Marketing & Operations

Help us run the engine behind the brand: reporting, coordination, content uploads, and the data insights that drive better decisions.

Team: Marketing, Content & Podcast Operations

Reports to: Head of Growth

Location: Remote

Hours: Part-time

Start date: ASAP

About Invested

Invested is helping gen z and millennials with money, period. We publish across multiple channels, and work with sponsors and partners who want to reach our audience. It is a small, fast-moving team where one person can have outsized impact.

About the role

We are looking for an Intern to be the connective tissue across our day-to-day operations. You will keep things moving across reporting, coordination, uploads, and turning data into insights, while getting hands-on exposure to marketing, podcast operations, sponsorship sales, and content. This is a learning role, but a real one: your work will ship, be seen, and make a difference.

What you will do

  • Pull together weekly and monthly reports across podcast, social, newsletter and sponsorship performance.
  • Own general admin and coordination, including scheduling, follow-ups, file organisation, and light project tracking.
  • Upload and publish content across platforms (podcast hosts, YouTube, social, newsletter, website) and keep metadata clean and consistent.
  • Dig into our data to surface insights: what episodes are working, which posts drive subscribers, and where sponsorships are converting.
  • Support podcast operations, including prep notes, guest logistics, show notes, and asset hand-offs to editors and designers.
  • Pitch in on marketing campaigns and content distribution wherever an extra pair of capable hands is useful.
    What you will learn
  • How a modern media brand is built and grown across multiple channels.
  • The end-to-end mechanics of running a podcast, from booking through to distribution and analytics.
  • How sponsorship sales actually work: prospecting, pitching, packaging, and reporting.
  • How to use data to make content and marketing decisions, not just describe them after the fact.
  • How to operate inside a small, fast team: prioritising, communicating clearly, and getting things done.

Who you are

  • Organized and reliable. You follow through, hit deadlines, and do not need to be chased.
  • Comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets, and curious about what the data is actually telling you.
  • A clear written communicator. Emails, briefs, updates and shownotes do not scare you.
  • Genuinely interested in marketing, content, podcasts, business and media. You consume this stuff already.
  • Resourceful and self-directed. You will figure it out, ask good questions, and learn quickly.
  • Bonus: experience with tools like Notion, Google Workspace, a podcast host, social schedulers, Canva, or basic analytics dashboards.
