In this dynamic role, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Associate Director and outreach team, helping deliver non-credit trainings, customized workforce solutions, certificate programs, and conferences that empower learners and organizations. Guided by UW-Green Bay's strategic priorities-expanding educational access, fostering community engagement, and driving regional impact-you will play a critical role in ensuring these programs run smoothly and effectively.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unitoperations
  • Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, creates events in registrationsoftware and reviews work done by others
  • Maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
  • Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
  • Serves as a backup to the primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums
  • Moderates virtual conferences and assists in the training of instructors

Minimum hourly compensation of $17.00. This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Conditions of Appointment:
Position is a part-time (50%) University Staff appointment. This position will be based out of the Green Bay campus and the selected candidate will work with the position supervisor to set a schedule. This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule subject to approved telecommuting request.
A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). In addition, if the final selected candidate has prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct will be completed. A six-month probationary period is required for this position. In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.
