Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University is seeking Course Developer and Instructor (Part-time) for the Center for Government Services. This position will administer, deliver, and develop non-credit courses in New Jersey government-related areas for the Rutgers Center for Government Services. The Center's programs are designed for government and public service employees seeking to obtain professional certification and/or professional development.
Among the key duties of the position are:
  • Creates, updates, and revises course content while developing online materials, audio/visual presentations, and interactive learning experiences.
  • Delivers engaging instruction to adult learners in government and public service roles and collaborates closely with the Center's Instructional Designer to design, implement, and enhance courses within the Canvas LMS platform.
  • Develops and updates course materials, including multimedia and other online learning tools, providing guidance and feedback to students, and responding to questions and inquiries outside of scheduled class times.
  • Contributes to course design and technical implementation to ensure effective and high-quality online learning experiences in related areas:
