We are seeking passionate and skilled English tutors to join our dynamic team at A Plus 1 Academy. Our tutors work with elementary-aged students (G1-G5) in both one-on-one and small-group settings, helping students build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, grammar, and communication while developing academic confidence.
This role is ideal for educators who are patient, engaging, and enthusiastic about working with younger learners. Tutors provide personalized instruction tailored to individual student needs during one-on-one sessions, while also facilitating collaborative learning and discussion in group classes. Our goal is to support students in becoming confident, capable learners in a structured and encouraging environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for students in both one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Teach core English skills, including vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and verbal communication, with a strong emphasis on phonics and spelling for younger learners.
  • Create fun, interactive lessons that actively engage students while encouraging critical thinking and skill development.
