Breast Imaging Radiologist – Altoona, PennsylvaniaClinical Opportunity

A world-class, physician-led health system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a large, well-supported radiology department in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

This opportunity is ideal for:

  • Fellowship-trained breast imagers or

  • General radiologists interested in ~50% breast imaging

Both full-time and part-time options are available.

Position Highlights
  • Flexible scheduling

  • Full-time or part-time options

  • Call schedule: 1:3 or 1:4

  • Academic appointment available (optional)

  • Visa sponsorship available (J-1 and H-1B)

  • MSQUA certification required

Radiology Department
  • Team of 17 radiologists, including:

    • 8 Neuroradiology / MSK / Body Imaging

    • 2 Breast Imagers (part-time)

    • 4 Interventional Radiologists

    • 2 Nuclear Medicine / PET Radiologists

  • Supported by physician extenders and experienced nursing staff

  • Part of one of the largest academic radiology departments in the U.S., with:

    • 170+ radiologists

    • 42 research faculty

    • 66 residents and fellows

Technology & Systems
  • PACS: McKesson (transitioning to Philips iSite)

  • Dictation: PowerScribe

  • EMR: Cerner (inpatient), Epic (outpatient)
