Position Overview:
We're looking for a dedicated pharmacist to work two days per week. You'll provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care while building lasting relationships with our patients and healthcare partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions and dispense medications accurately
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling and medication management
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and students
- Manage inventory, including controlled substances
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Participate in quality initiatives and specialized patient services
- Build strong, caring relationships with patients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D. preferred)
- Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina
- Minimum 2-3 years of retail pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient counseling skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and Windows applications
