Job description

 The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Centeraffiliated with the Children's Hospital of New Mexico is seeking a full or parttime Pediatric Cardiologist at the level of Assistant/Associate or FullProfessor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. Salary, level, and trackwill be commensurate with training and experience.  Candidates must be board certified or eligiblein Pediatric Cardiology and with potential for a career in academicmedicine.  A good balance of clinical andteaching experience awaits the successful candidate in this tertiary carepediatric practice.  The candidate will providecare in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.

This is anexcellent opportunity for applicants with interest in the Southwest region ofthe United States. We are looking for candidates who are dedicatedto providing excellence in clinical service and teaching. There are opportunities for participation inclinical research. Candidates with a focuson outpatient cardiology and outreach are encouraged to apply. Excellentmentoring is available for early and mid-career applicants by senior cardiologists and other well established pediatric subspecialists.
