Part-time PCAs, or Personal Care Assistants, are professionals who provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or age-related needs, typically working fewer hours than full-time employees. Their duties often include helping with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Part-time PCAs work flexible schedules that may include evenings or weekends, depending on the client's needs. They can work in private homes, assisted living facilities, or other care settings, and may be employed by agencies or directly by clients.
