Overview

We are seeking caring and dependable Personal Care Assistants to provide compassionate support to seniors in their homes or care facilities. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and enhance the quality of life for our senior clients through respectful and person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being.

  • Support with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

  • Help with medication reminders and ensure safety protocols are followed.

  • Assist with transfers and mobility, using proper techniques to prevent injury.

  • Accompany seniors to medical appointments, errands, and recreational activities as needed.

  • Observe and report any changes in health, mood, or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain a respectful, trusting, and positive relationship with clients.

  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in personal care, caregiving, or related roles preferred.

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation is required).
